Strange! A Lady Can Talk German Right After One Day of Coma

The British media reported on April 13 that a strange thing happened in Croatiaa 13 year old lady abruptly cannot talk her mother tongue Crotian and can only talk to folks in german language after waking up from coma.
The girl’s parents tell that just before she fell into coma she just started to learn German, it was tough for her to read German books and watch German TV programs and she can’t converse German fluently. On the other hand after she woke up from the coma, she totally forgets about her mother tongue Crotian. What’s worse she even refuses to communicate it. Instead she talks to consumers in fluent German like a native speaker.
It’s learnt that the lady had been in coma only for twenty four hours but the main reason is nevertheless unidentified. In line with the medical doctors, this could be cause by high fever. Now the lady is nevertheless in hospital and her parents visit her every evening. It’s awkward that she cannot understand her parent’s words, so the hospital has to arrange an interpreter in order to support the girl to speak with her family and the medical doctors. Besides the hospital even arranges doctors who can communicate German as her attending medical doctors.
Suddenly forgetting the mother tongue may be a tricky problem that continually bothers the medical field. One particular on the girl’s attending medical doctors, Dr. Miyu Milas, a psychiatrics expert, said: “similar cases have occurred just before. Just after getting up from heavy disease or coma, patients suddenly could speak another language. In some cases, the patients could even converse the languages spoken in ancient Babylon and ancient Egypt. During the past we may well believe these conditions were mysterious but now we believe there’s a logical explanation to this phenomenon. We just haven’t uncovered it yet.”
